Avery Hjulberg grew up as a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and later felt called to ministry. The Endowment Commission awarded Avery scholarships throughout his studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. Avery graduated in 2024 and now serves as pastor at Christ Lutheran Church in Topeka, Kansas.
