It always seems to surprise a few people that Christmas is not a day, but rather a season of the Church. We may have opened all the presents, enjoyed company of friends and family, and celebrated the arrival of Jesus—but does that celebration continue past December 25th? This morning we are once again reminded that what God has done in Jesus isn’t just for one day, but a cause to rejoice throughout all the days of our life. Not only has Christ come, but his coming means that we are brought into God’s family. As you prepare for worship this morning, be reminded that Christ came for you and that you are a member of His family.
