Our Mission

Immanuel Lutheran School is a Christian community dedicated to nurturing each child’s faith, values and stewardship while developing the academic achievement of all learners. Our mission is to help students experience God’s presence in their daily lives and to equip them to be able to engage others with the love of Jesus.

Our Approach

Immanuel Lutheran School is an intrinsic part of the educational ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church. As facilitators of learning, we recognize the role of parents as the primary educators of their children. We provide an educational program that is sufficiently varied and flexible to foster the development of the whole person.

Our Story

Immanuel Elementary School began in 1956, with Milton Pingel as our founding Principal. Later in 1992 our Immanuel Preschool opened. Our schools are part of the Pacific Southwest District of the LCMS. Immanuel is part of a nation-wide network of schools in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS). Over 2000 schools (preschool, elementary, high school, college) form a commitment to education at all levels.

Meet the Team
