We Believe that…

God is Triune, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who created all things, who provides our eternal salvation, and who works faith in human hearts through Word and Sacraments (Baptism and Holy Communion). God has revealed Himself to us through Jesus Christ and through the sacred Scriptures.

Humanity was created in the image of God, but since the Fall all people are sinners by birth and by action and fall short of the perfection God expects of His creatures.

Jesus is our Lord and Savior, true God and true Man, who died on the cross and who was raised to life again, so that we might have forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

The Bible is God’s inspired Word, and records the story of God’s mighty acts, the revelation of His will, the witness of the Gospel of Christ, and the only source and norm of the church’s teachings and life.

The Church is the Body of Christ in whom Christ lives and through whom He works, by Word and Sacrament, to reach human hearts with the Gospel. The Church is one, holy, universal, and apostolic. It is God’s mission in the world.

You are God’s Creation, loved by God and meant to enjoy the all gifts and promises He gives. God desires that you have faith in Him and that you respond to Him with love and service.
